Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology/Hematology Physician to join our growing team in Cloquet, Minnesota. This physician will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with cancer and blood disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality care in a community-based hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities: •Diagnose and treat a wide range of solid tumors and hematologic disorders, including benign and malignant conditions • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with evidence-based guidelines •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including surgery, radiology, pathology, primary care, and palliative care services •Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage treatment-related complications •Provide patient and family education, including prognosis, treatment options, and survivorship care •Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Work Environment & Schedule: •Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults •Support from experienced nursing staff, care coordinators, and infusion center team •Access to diagnostic services including imaging, lab, and pathology • Fulltime position working 4 days per week.
Requirements: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board certification or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Current licensure in the state of MN or ability to gain licensure prior to credentialing. Completion of an approved Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship. DEA certification. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care. Current certification in BLS, ACLS & PALS. Experience practicing in a rural or community hospital setting preferred. Familiarity with value-based care and population health management preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Wage
Salary range of $515,000-$580,000.
