Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist to support talent acquisition and employee onboarding for a growing company in the Miami area. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys connecting with candidates, coordinating hiring activities, and ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new employees.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and identify qualified candidates.
Conduct initial candidate screenings and maintain consistent communication throughout the recruitment process.
Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate background checks, employment verifications, and other pre-employment requirements.
Assist with new hire orientation and communicate company policies, procedures, and employment requirements.
Maintain accurate employee records and update applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
Ensure completion of employment eligibility documentation, including I-9 forms and E-Verify processes, as applicable.
Support HR administrative functions and contribute to continuous improvements in recruiting and onboarding procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, or human resources.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple openings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms.
Knowledge of onboarding procedures, employment documentation, and pre-employment screening requirements.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
Compensation & Opportunity
