Job Description

The Client is seeking an experienced OnBase Technical Lead to serve as the principal technical authority for its OnBase application environment. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership to the development team while actively designing, developing, configuring, and enhancing OnBase applications.

The ideal candidate must possess deep, hands-on expertise in OnBase WorkView and Workflow, including application development, system configuration, administration, process optimization, and production support. This individual will act as a functional architect, translating complex business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development team in designing, coding, implementing, and enhancing existing OnBase applications.
• Serve as the principal technical authority and functional architect for OnBase solutions.
• Design, configure, develop, and maintain OnBase WorkView applications and Workflow processes.
• Architect and optimize OnBase solutions to address complex business and operational requirements.
• Configure and administer OnBase systems to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient application performance.
• Plan and deploy interface, process, and workflow strategies for OnBase applications.
• Translate business and user requirements into technical designs and solution specifications.
• Guide the development team through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Review technical designs and recommend improvements aligned with enterprise objectives and best practices.
• Direct and participate in application development, coding, unit testing, debugging, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to OnBase applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and interpret user requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise during system and application testing.
• Identify, track, and resolve project issues, risks, and action items.
• Develop task estimates and timelines to ensure timely project delivery.
• Communicate project status, technical updates, risks, and challenges to team members and management.
• Provide ongoing training and mentoring to technical staff on OnBase tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Ensure all solutions meet quality, scalability, performance, and enterprise standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field; equivalent technical experience may be considered.
• Extensive experience developing and enhancing existing OnBase applications.
• Expert-level knowledge of OnBase WorkView and Workflow functionality.
• Expert-level experience with OnBase system configuration and administration.
• Strong understanding of the OnBase Unity Client and its use in OnBase applications.
• Experience designing and implementing complex workflows and business process automation solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills.
• Experience leading technical teams and providing hands-on development guidance.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• OnBase WorkView and Workflow certification.
• Additional OnBase-related certifications.
• Experience serving as a Technical Lead, Solution Architect, or Functional Architect for enterprise content management applications.
