Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.40-$25.62

Position Overview
Securitas is seeking a highly motivated SOC Operator with strong technical aptitude and cybersecurity experience to join our Security Operations Center in Westborough, MA. This is an on-site position responsible for monitoring security systems, analyzing potential threats, coordinating incident response, and maintaining the integrity of critical security technologies.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent analytical skills, and is comfortable working with a variety of security platforms and enterprise technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor enterprise security systems including access control, intrusion detection, alarm management, and CCTV platforms.
- Cybersecurity Awareness: Identify, assess, and escalate potential cybersecurity events or suspicious network activity in accordance with established procedures.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents, alarms, and system alerts while coordinating with internal teams, IT personnel, and emergency responders when necessary.
- Technology Operations: Operate and troubleshoot security technologies including surveillance systems, access control software, communication platforms, and monitoring applications.
- Threat Analysis: Evaluate security events, determine appropriate response actions, and escalate critical incidents in a timely manner.
- Documentation: Accurately document incidents, investigations, system activity, and operational reports with exceptional attention to detail.
- Access Management: Monitor and support electronic access control systems while ensuring compliance with client security policies.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, site personnel, IT departments, and security leadership during routine operations and critical incidents.
- Continuous Vigilance: Maintain situational awareness by monitoring multiple systems simultaneously while prioritizing events based on severity and operational impact.
Qualifications
- Strong background or professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or Security Operations Center (SOC) environments
- High level of technical proficiency with computer systems and enterprise software
- Experience working with CCTV platforms, access control systems, alarm monitoring, or security management software preferred
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, incident response procedures, and threat detection methodologies
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask while monitoring multiple systems simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound decision-making under pressure
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a security-sensitive environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of cybersecurity, SOC, IT security, or related technical security experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
- Experience with enterprise security technologies or security monitoring platforms preferred
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
