Kirby Risk is seeking an Automation Software Engineer to design, plan, and execute automation software projects while supporting digital transformation initiatives using leading technologies such as Cloud, Cybersecurity, Servers, Thin Clients, and IIoT.

What You'll Do as an Automation Software EngineerIn this role, you'll work directly with customers and internal teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

You'll:

Design, develop, and implement automation software solutions based on customer needsAnalyze system requirements, workflows, and data usage to identify effective solutionsConfigure and deploy applications, including installation and user trainingDesign scalable, flexible, and reliable systems to support customer operationsApply and integrate new technologies including cloud, cybersecurity, and IIoT solutionsLead collaborative discussions with customers, leadership, and stakeholders to define system capabilitiesPartner closely with system integrators to support project coordination, software integration, troubleshooting, and successful system implementationSupport project execution from planning through implementation and follow-upTrack and report on project performance and success metricsMaintain professionalism in all customers, vendor, and internal communicationsSupport a team-based selling environment alongside hardware and services teams

What Makes You a Great Fit

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Equivalent experience (5+ years) considered in lieu of degree

Experience or interest in cloud technologies and analyticsBasic knowledge of databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-facing skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with customers, contractors, and system integrators across multiple project phasesStrong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systemsCommitment to continuous learning and professional development

Onsite role that must have authorization to work in the United States.
