Position Overview
The Apartment Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property while maintaining positive tenant relationships and ensuring the property runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Tenant Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants
Address tenant questions, concerns, and maintenance requests professionally and promptly
Conduct tours of available units for prospective tenants
Coordinate lease signings, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
Maintain positive resident relations and community standards
Financial Management
Collect rent payments and maintain accurate payment records
Monitor delinquent accounts and follow company procedures regarding late payments
Maintain organized property and tenant documentation
Leasing & Marketing
Advertise vacancies and assist with tenant retention efforts
Utilize online platforms and social media to market available units
Conduct open houses and promote property amenities
Stay informed on local rental market trends and competitor pricing
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records related to leases, maintenance requests, and financial transactions
Ensure compliance with property policies and landlord-tenant regulations
Coordinate with maintenance personnel and vendors as needed
Qualifications
Previous property management, leasing, or related experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Experience with property management software is a plus
Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and leasing practices preferred
Reliable, professional, and able to live on-site full-time
