Direct Hire | Full-Time | Day Shift

Pay:$30.00–$34.00/hour

Join the Operating Room team at Riverwood Healthcare Center, a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Aitkin, Minnesota. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Surgical Technologist looking to work across multiple specialties in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Position Highlights

Full-Time | Day Shift
36 hours per week
Four 9-hour shifts (4x9)
Call required (approximately every 7th–8th weekday and every 7th–8th weekend)

Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms for scheduled procedures.
Set up sterile instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies.
Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases.
Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently.
Assist with patient positioning, room turnover, and specimen handling.
Support sterile processing and scope reprocessing.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Required

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room Surgical Technologist experience.

Preferred

Current CST certification.
Experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, Pain Management, or Podiatry.
Experience with Da Vinci Xi or other robotic surgical systems.
