You will lead training sessions, conduct thorough pre and postflight briefings, and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) across assigned aircraft platforms.Key responsibilities include:- Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in alignment with regulatory requirements, CAE curriculum, and customer expectations.- Conduct professional, comprehensive pre and postflight simulator briefings.- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for client training and internal course development.- Perform administrative duties, including completing training records, maintaining instructional qualifications, and recommending remedial training when needed.- Provide instruction across one or more aircraft types for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and internal qualifications.- After approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business need), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.Physical Requirements- Constantly ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.- Occasionally move into different positions, including confined spaces.- Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods (standing or sitting).- Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.- Occasionally adjust or move objects up to 20 lbs.- Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, or fingers.Minimum Qualifications- Unrestricted ATP certificate or completion of ATP Written.- FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000+ total flight hours preferred.- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internetbased programs.- Participation in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.- Experience flying business aircraft is highly desired.- Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.- Must be authorized to work in the United States.Preferred Qualifications- Prior instructional or training experience.- Falcon experience highly preferred.- Unrestricted PIC Type Rating preferred.- Ability to tailor training content to a diverse customer base.- Strong attention to detail with commitment to accurate recordkeeping in accordance with CAE and FAA standards.- Demonstrated customerservice mindset and ability to create a positive learning environment.- Professional character with strong verbal and written communication skills.Benefits- 401(k) with employer match and Employee Stock Purchase Program.- Access to cuttingedge technology and diverse teaching opportunities.- Opportunity to remain active on the flight deck while maintaining a worklife balance.Pay Rate: $37.50/hr during training. $75/hr after qualifications.What to expect: CAE offers a comprehensive training program to help transform your knowledge and skills as a pilot into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert ready to lead clients through their training.Equal OpportunityAccessibilityCAE is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodation to individuals with physical and mental disabilities.
