Shore Community Services is seeking dedicated, compassionate On-call Direct Support Professionals to join our team!In this role, you will empower children and/or adults with developmental disabilities by providing direct care, assisting with daily life activities, and supporting community outings. Qualifications & Requirements
Skills & Background:·
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.·
Experience: Prior experience in caregiving or direct support preferred but not required.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, active empathy, and a commitment to respectful care.·
Flexibility: Reliable, adaptable, and responsive to scheduling needs.
Physical & Attire Requirements:·
Ability to sit, bend, lift, push, use hands, and maintain independent mobility.· Attire: Closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles required. (For safety, minimal jewelry is recommended: no earrings, rings with raised designs, bracelets, chains, or pins).
Schedule Expectations
This position will be on-call.
Candidates should be comfortable working evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed to support program operations
