We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused professional to support vehicle transport operations on an on-call basis. In this role, you will help move vehicles between dealership locations, auction sites, service facilities, and other designated destinations while maintaining a strong focus on safety, timeliness, and professionalism. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, can adapt to changing schedules, and takes pride in representing the organization well.
Responsibilities
- Transport vehicles between designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow dispatch instructions, route plans, and delivery schedules as assigned.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after transport to note any existing damage or concerns.
- Complete and maintain required paperwork, trip logs, and delivery documentation.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, dealership personnel, and other team members.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service at all times.
- Observe all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while operating vehicles.
- Report delays, mechanical issues, or other concerns promptly.
- Handle vehicle keys, documents, and related materials with care and accountability.
- Support additional transportation-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles, if required by the assignment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe driving practices.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and basic documentation skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible for on-call scheduling needs.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and travel between locations as needed.
