Description
On - Call Culinary Technician
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Shift & Working Hours: Position is a flexible on-call position, no guaranteedhours,work is based on business needs.Must be availableseveral days per weekbetween 8am and 4pm and be abletowork at the Land O'Lakes, Inc., Arden Hills, MN office.
Role Focus:
Thispositionwill workas an on-call CulinaryTechnicianintheLand O'LakesCulinary Center supporting both the retail and food service test kitchens.This person must understand the workings of a professional kitchen, obtained by working in a food service kitchen or catering business.These skillswillbeleveragedformaintaining the kitchenfacilities,orderingandorganizinggroceries,and equipmentupkeep.
Maintain Cleanliness of Culinary Center
-Washing and putting dishes away in all kitchens
-Washing, drying,andfolding laundry as needed
- Cleaning countertops, tables, and equipment as needed
Maintain Organization of Culinary Center
-Stockkitchen staples
-Organize andmaintainall storage areas
Groceries
-Order groceries through Instacart as requested
-Check-in, distribute,and notify requestor of grocery arrival
-Check-in, distribute,and notify requestor ofSysco product arrival
Other
- Familiar withbasic computer skills such as Microsoft Office
-Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 2 years workingeither in a food service kitchen or in catering business.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs
Position requires being on your feet majority of the shift
