    Description

    E-Logic, Inc. is seeking dependable, safety-focused, and highly responsive Delivery Drivers to support the DC Public Schools (DCPS) project throughout Washington, DC. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering supplies, materials, equipment, and other items between warehouses, schools, and designated facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and reliability.


    This is a federal government-related project, and only qualified candidates who meet all project requirements will be selected. Selected candidates must successfully complete all required pre-employment screening requirements, including drug testing prior to assignment. Employees may also be subject to additional drug testing requirements during and after the project as required by company policy, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.


    The ideal candidate must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to respond quickly to changing schedules, delivery priorities, and urgent project needs.


    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM


    Key Responsibilities

    • Safely operate company vehicles, including cargo vans, box trucks, or other assigned delivery vehicles throughout Washington, DC.
    • Transport and deliver supplies, materials, equipment, and other items to DCPS schools, offices, warehouses, and facilities.
    • Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions to ensure timely and accurate service.
    • Load, unload, secure, and transport materials properly to prevent damage during transit.
    • Verify delivery items against manifests, packing lists, or delivery instructions before departure and upon arrival.
    • Obtain signatures, delivery confirmations, or required documentation when requested.
    • Perform daily vehicle inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and immediately report safety concerns, damage, or maintenance issues.
    • Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
    • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, company policies, and DC regulations while operating vehicles.
    • Maintain professional communication and respectful interactions with DCPS administrators, school staff, warehouse personnel, and facility representatives.
    • Assist with basic warehouse support, inventory handling, loading, and organization tasks when needed.
    • Report delays, delivery issues, damaged materials, or operational concerns immediately to the supervisor.
    • Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Valid driver's license required. CDL may be required depending on the assigned vehicle type.
    • Clean driving record with no major violations.
    • Previous experience in delivery driving, logistics, transportation, moving, or warehouse operations preferred.
    • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing 50 pounds or more.
    • Ability to operate delivery vehicles responsibly in an urban environment.
    • Strong attention to safety and compliance with company procedures.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.
    • Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and client representatives.
    • Ability to complete delivery logs, reports, and electronic confirmations when required.
    • Must be willing to comply with all project requirements, including required screenings and safety procedures.

    Work Environment & Physical Requirements

    • Frequent driving throughout Washington, DC.
    • Regular loading, unloading, lifting, and transporting of materials.
    • Ability to stand, bend, lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
    • Work may require operating in active school and government facility environments.
    • Daily interaction with school staff, administrators, warehouse personnel, and project team members.
    • Must maintain a professional appearance and behavior while representing E-Logic and supporting DCPS operations.
