Job Title: OFFSITE Packaging Coordinator
Job Location: Milan, IL
Job Duration: 12+ months (extension possible)
Shift Timing: 1st shift hours during training period (7:00am 3:30pm). After training is completed, hours are flexible, 100% onsite position
Pay Range: $23-$24
Requirements:
- There may be occasional travel to offsite warehouses near client PDC in Milan (driving distance is less than 10 miles)
- This role will be working in a warehouse environment and will require all necessary PPE safety shoes, safety glasses and gloves. (all PPE except for metatarsals are provided by client)
- Metatarsals are required from day one
- 1st shift hours during training period (7:00am 3:30pm). After training is completed, hours are flexible.
Job Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of this role will be to measure parts in the warehouse and input the data into our packaging spec application.
- SCW Analysts will provide a list of parts and warehouse locations to go to review the parts.
- Specific instructions will be provided on what measurements need to be made and how to make them.
Top Must Haves:
- basic Excel, computer knowledge
- Decision making skills
- Ability to look at data sets
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Able to drive Cushman (small, battery-operated vehicle similar to a small golf-cart)
- Comfortable in high traffic warehouse environment
- Able to be on their feet 50% of day
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, and/or supply chain OR equivalent work experience
- Manager is open to recent graduates
