Description

Duration: 12 Months
Location: TX Houston - Tower

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the prime contractor and subcontractors to create and manage project schedules, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Map out each step and its associated relationships and constraints to ensure project completion on time and within cost guidelines.
  • Review and build step-by-step master timelines using software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Meet regularly with the project team, contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain alignment.
  • Track daily or weekly site progress and report updates to the program lead scheduler, project team, and stakeholders.
  • Identify potential bottlenecks, vessel standby, or delays and create backup plans to keep work moving.
  • Create alternate schedules for differing execution scenarios to evaluate potential project cost, risk, and ISD alternatives.

Requirements:

  • Technical literacy to understand scheduling tools, scopes of work, project drawings, and project software.
  • Clear communication and interaction with on-site personnel, the project team, and stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time management skills while juggling multiple timelines, delivery dates, and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to break a large complex offshore project into logical vessel work-fronts.
  • Demonstrated experience in offshore projects in a previous planning role with components such as pipelay, infield developments, diving, dredging/trenching, etc.
  • Experience working on in-flight projects where live feedback and corrective measures are critical to project success.
  • Based in Houston, Texas.
