    Job Description:

    Performs advanced clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, provides reports and consolidates meeting minutes, performs data collection and provides information to internal and external customers as needed. Provides direct support and guidance to other office staff.

     

    Required Skills:

     

    1. Advanced typing skills (50–60 wpm).

    2. Excellent listening, writing and oral communication skills.

    3. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    4. Advanced organizational skills to demonstrate initiative to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and demands.

    5. Advanced proficiency in the use of a personal computer, including word processing, presentations, database management, and spreadsheet applications.

    6. High level of interpersonal skills and ability to work on issues of a sensitive nature, expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

    7. Excellent Customer Service. 

    8. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

    Required Experience:

    A. Work Experience:
    Three years of clerical and administrative work-related experience required, preferably in a hospital or out patient setting. 

     

    B. License/Registration/Certification
    None.

     

    C. Education and Training:
    High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred.
