Location: Bloomington, MN

Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 $28.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Travel Requirements: Yes valid driver's license required; must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.

Job Summary

The Office Services Technician plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and high-functioning office environment. This hands-on position supports day-to-day office operations, meetings, events, facilities coordination, employee-owner needs, and guest experience for the Bloomington office location. Key Responsibilities

Office Operations & Facilities Support

  • Coordinate and maintain the overall appearance, organization, and readiness of office spaces, including kitchenettes, conference rooms, furniture, equipment, and shared supply areas.
  • Set up and break down conference rooms and shared spaces for daily meetings, office events, client meetings, trainings, and large-scale gatherings.
  • Assist with office moves, floor plan changes, construction projects, workstation updates, and general office improvement efforts.
  • Troubleshoot, coordinate repairs, and help maintain miscellaneous office and desk equipment.
  • Communicate with building maintenance contacts, office assistants, and building management regarding office needs and maintenance requests.

Events, Meetings & Hospitality

  • Coordinate and support office events, meetings, and activities, including room setup, catering, beverage setup, vendor coordination, attendance support, and post-event cleanup.
  • Assist office leadership with conference room setup, meeting logistics, and related coordination as requested.
  • Support large-scale meetings and events, including table reconfiguration, outside vendor coordination, attendee support, and basic assistance with audio visual equipment.
  • Help plan, coordinate, and facilitate on-site and off-site meetings, including client meetings, trainings, stakeholder meetings, and office management meetings.

Mail, Shipping & Supplies

  • Receive, sort, and deliver regular mail, packages, boxes, and other office deliveries.
  • Prepare packages, shipping labels, and shipments through various ground and express delivery companies.
  • Maintain employee-owner mail recipient lists and mailbox locations.
  • Manage office supplies, kitchen supplies, toner, and related inventory, including stocking, rotation, and organization across multiple locations.

Employee & Guest Experience

  • Assist with the physical setup of new employee workstations, including general office supplies and coordination to ensure lights, phones, outlets, and related needs are addressed.
  • Assist with employee exits by removing, logging, and packing desk items and helping return workstations to a clean and ready state for future use.
  • Process employee badge and professional photographs, including editing and uploading into internal systems.
  • Provide front desk coverage during lunch breaks, including answering multi-line phones, greeting guests, supporting visitor check-in/check-out, and routing badge issues to security.
  • Support office leadership, employee-owners, and guests with other office services needs as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating accuracy, reliability, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to provide a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented experience for employee-owners, clients, guests, vendors, and office leadership.
  • Ability to perform hands-on office support tasks, including stocking supplies, setting up rooms, assisting with office moves, and supporting event setup and cleanup.
  • Must be able to meet daily deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Applicable office, clerical, hospitality, facilities, event support, or customer service experience in a corporate facility preferred.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move various size and weight packages (up to 50 pounds). Additional heavy lifting may be done with a team member or back brace support.
  • Driving is required; must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
  • Valid driver's license required.
