Position Overview:They are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of their New York City office. This individual will serve as a central point of contact for workplace needs and will be responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is a strong multitasker who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager:- Oversee daily office operations and maintain an organized and professional workplace
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and building management
- Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and general workplace needs
- Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers
- Maintain conference rooms, common areas, and shared office spaces
- Assist with meeting coordination, catering, and internal office events
- Handle incoming mail, packages, deliveries, and correspondence
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics for employees
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow through on office-related issues
- Assist with calendars, scheduling, documentation, and general administrative projects as needed
- Process invoices, receipts, and expense-related documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve office procedures and overall efficiency
- Provide additional administrative and operational support to leadership and the broader team as needed
Required Experience/Skills for the Office Manager:- Previous office management, workplace operations, administrative, or facilities coordination experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and polished demeanor
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Proactive approach with strong follow-through
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable interacting with employees and leadership at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Office Manager:- 3+ years of office management or administrative operations experience
- Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, meetings, and office events
- Experience supporting senior leadership or executives
- Familiarity with expense reporting and invoice processing
- Experience working within a corporate or professional office environment
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant professional experience.
