Position Summary

The role of the Coordinator reports to the Clinic Manager. This position is responsible for supervision of the front office.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, patients, guests, and coworkers in a positive and professional manner
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, clinic staff, and providers
  • Perform office and administrative duties in an effective and efficient manner
  • Schedule appointments
  • Register patients
  • Collect co-payments and deductibles
  • Verify insurance eligibility
  • Scan documents into the electronic medical record system
  • Provide information to interdisciplinary providers, as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Licensure and Certifications: N/A
  • Experience: Two years of previous medical office experience, required. Familiarity with medical terminology as well as various medical insurance carriers, required.

Work Environment: This position will spend 80% of the time sitting while performing work in a standard office setting and 20% of work time standing and/or walking while pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs.
