American Crystal Sugar Company is looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Office Coordinator in Drayton, ND reporting to the Factory Manager with a dotted line to the Agronomy Manager. The purpose of this position is to coordinate and provide confidential support services and related activities for factory Ag and Operations management staff.
The principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
To be successful in this position requires prior experience and knowledge of office administration, general accounting and mathematical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills normally gained through the completion of an associate degree in office/business administration or gained through the completion of 3 to 5 years of previous office/business experience. A general understanding of factory operations and the harvest process is preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer systems and in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and the ability to compose professional written communications is required. The incumbent must also be able to learn the Company's various software applications.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently and complete job functions with a high degree of accuracy and with frequent and changing deadlines. This position must possess team skills as well as the ability to use sound judgment and discretion. Sensitivity to the confidentiality of shareholders' and growers' requests is very important.
Compensation Range:
$22.09 - $27.61 /hr
