Job Summary:

Tilray is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Office Coordinator to join our team in the NYC office. The ideal applicant will be a flexible problem solver, who thrives on being organized, paying attention to detail, collaborates with others, and enjoys interacting with and being around people. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the C-level executives, coordinating events and managing the activities of a burgeoning, vibrant Manhattan office location as well as ad hoc projects. The person in this role must not be afraid to be resourceful and manage short- and longer-term projects, demonstrating reliability and the ability to implement processes and execute to deadlines.

Salary: USD $60-70K annually, based on experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day reception desk; welcome scheduled guests and visitors in-person

  • Assist various C-level executives with T&E and various projects on an ad hoc basis.

  • Create and organize information, and generate reference tools for easy use by the office (e.g. holiday calendar, travel schedules, communicating changes/updates to NYC office employees

  • Opportunity to shadow multiple office positions and gain experience in a variety of tasks

  • Perform general office duties such as ensuring adequate inventory of office supplies, stocking the kitchen and putting away groceries, maintaining common areas, running errands, etc.

  • Perform research for various departments within the company as needed

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail for the office; coordinate pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.); Could involve lifting heavy packages

  • Arrange daily lunch and catering logistics for internal/external meetings and special events

  • Expense coordination and submission in Concur

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Position requires full-time on-site presence in the Manhattan office, as well as the ability to report to the office on short notice when needed

  • Bachelor's degree ideal but not required

  • 3 to 5 years providing direct administrative support in an office setting

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, is required; experience with automated expense management systems such as Concur is preferred.

  • Ability to carry boxes (<25 lbs.) as needed when assisting with office deliveries/groceries
