Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide clerical and direct support to the division of Dual Enrollment and Continuing Education. The Office Assistant is the front-line customer service representative with students, faculty, staff and the public.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Six (6) months office/clerical related experience.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy maintaining records.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate courteously and effectively with students, faculty, staff and public.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Higher education experience.
Knowledge of Datatel Colleague and WebDMC.
One (1) year related experience in an office setting.
