Introduction:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and handling a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage office operations — files, supplies, mail, and general organization.
Prepare and handle correspondence, reports, and documentation.
Record and maintain meeting minutes and patient statistics.
Answer and route telephone inquiries professionally.
Maintain and file clinical notes and patient records accurately.
Process and track physician orders for signatures and maintain logs.
Close and archive patient records upon discharge.
Update and manage patient ledger cards and other administrative logs.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/Administrator.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and email
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus
