    Unit Position Summary

    The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs (ASA) is seeking a professional, highly organized and detail-oriented office assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support across a variety of office functions utilizing strong critical thinking, communication and time management skills. This position requires the ability to manage information with the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion.

    Must be organized, able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion, be detail oriented, and apply critical thinking.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage distribution of office emails, maintain

    • office calendars, and perform general administrative and clerical duties

    • Sort and organize confidential student files with accuracy and discretion

    • Order and maintain office supplies and inventory Office supply ordering

    • Manage and update timeline-based tracking spreadsheets and systems

    • Perform accurate data entry and maintain records

    • Support additional office and administrative duties as assigned

    • Assist with other duties as needed.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately input, update, and maintain data across various databases and systems.

    • Ability to perform regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines.

    • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Drive, Outlook, Microsoft OneDrive, and a high level of typing accuracy.

    • Previous administrative or office support experience is preferred.

    • Strong communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

    Information:

    • This is a part-time position, requiring 10-20 hours per week.

    • The Admissions and Student Affairs Assistant will work closely with the Advising, Wellness and Counseling and leaders and staff members across all ASA divisions.
