Position Overview:
Zoom Elite Transportation is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our administrative office. The ideal candidate will possess both human resources and general office experience and will serve as a key support person to the General Manager and Director. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct administrative support to the General Manager and Director, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Assist with HR functions such as onboarding, employee file maintenance, benefits coordination, and attendance tracking.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including phone calls, emails, and visitor inquiries.
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage office supply inventory, ordering materials as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of company reports, presentations, and internal documentation.
  • Support recruiting processes by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Provide backup support to other administrative staff as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office assistant role.
  • Previous HR experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time, Monday through Friday (additional hours may be required based on business needs)
Compensation:
  • Starting Pay - $18 -$22 per hour
