    Job Description:

    Job Purpose

    To provide administrative support within a general office environment, supporting Human Resource and Forestry departments.

    In this position you will have the opportunity to:

    • Perform administrative tasks. Compile, prepare and distribute daily reports associated with production needs and record retention.
    • Review employee timecards for accuracy and support the payroll process.
    • Assist employees with routine payroll and benefits paperwork and questions.
    • Manage employee purchases for sales of products.
    • Assist with or perform activities associated with HR processes, systems, and compliance programs.
    • Using HRIS and other information systems answering employee questions and assisting in supporting the plant HR program.
    • Maintain electronic filing system; ensure key information is archived according to company guidelines.
    • Schedule and plan meals for office meetings and celebrations.
    • Monitor office supplies and order as needed; ensure office equipment is maintained in good working order.
    • Serves as record retention coordinator for the site, updating ACCUTRAK and managing file archive ensuring that records are maintained or destroyed as required.
    • Assists Forestry Resource Manager in maintaining documentation and scale tickets daily.
    • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility.
    • Perform miscellaneous office duties.
    • Perform other duties as necessary.

    What do I need to be successful?

    • Strong computer and software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DocuSign, Canva and RiseVision.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Education

    • High School diploma or equivalent required; AA or other advanced coursework or certificates desirable.

    Experience:

    Minimum Required:

    • 5+ years' experience in an office environment, preferably in a similar role.
    • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
