Custom Home Builder Seeking Office Administrator Assistant

Your mission (should you choose to accept) is to perform the daily tasks to take a construction project from beginning to end while keeping the client, coworkers, and subcontractors happy, on budget, and on time. You will want to concurrently integrate policies and procedures so that, someday (when you’re

    on a nice long vacation), no one else will mess up your system!

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AWESOME AT: (…besides being the already awesome person you are).

  • Analyze and predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Scheduling meetings and sending meeting invites to attendees.
  • Friendly phone etiquette and phone screening ability.
  • Scheduling inspections or subcontractors for specific project manager jobs.
  • Performing a building permit application packet. Review and discuss building department review comments with the office administrator.
  • Performing clerical tasks, such as sorting and sending mail, typing contracts, typing change orders, etc.
  • Ensuring the office is running smoothly.
  • Exceptional multitasker who is flexible and able to prioritize new tasks as they come in.
  • Excellent customer service in person and by phone.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:  (…or most of them – if you’re missing one, let’s talk about it).

  • Competence and high aptitude required.
  • Good attitude and excellent communication skills
  • The candidate must also have experience with construction project management software (experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, and BuilderTrend a plus)
  • This candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities and possess above average written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment is also essential for this position.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
