Duties Description Administering assessment tools and/or instruments to determine risk and/or needs of an I/I to better prepare the individual eventual return to the community. You would interview I/Is and review all relevant information in order to determine counseling need and make program recommendations. You would provide on-going individual and group counseling. You would provide guidance to I/Is assessing needs and preparing evaluations for the Board of Parole. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Offender Rehabilitation Coordinator SG-19 $70,579: Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience providing individual and/or group counseling in a recognized program aimed at assisting clients with the resolution of major social, behavioral, and personal problems. Or, a Masters degree and 1 year of qualifying experience.

Officer Rehabilitation Coordinator Trainee 1 (equated to SG - 13)

• Must have a Bachelors degree with a major in community health and family studies, correctional studies, counseling, criminal justice, human services, psychology, public justice, social work, sociology, or vocational rehabilitation.
• If appointed as ORC Trainee 1, you will enter a 2 year traineeship leading to the ORC.
