Maintenance Technician

Minimum 1 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to fill an opening with a leading aerospace manufacturer located near Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment, with a strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance background.

Requirements of the Maintenance Technician

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

• U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and production equipment

• Ability to identify equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs or replacement parts

• Experience with machine installation and equipment upgrades preferred

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Ability to prioritize maintenance activities and manage multiple responsibilities

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and regularly lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing machinery and production equipment

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues

• Repair equipment or identify and order necessary replacement parts

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep machinery in good working condition

• Install new machinery and assist with equipment upgrades and shop improvement projects

• Install and change dies and molds in large industrial presses

• Maintain shop tools and ensure maintenance equipment remains in proper working condition

• Perform general facility and building maintenance from floor to roof

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop and work environment

• Support production scheduling by minimizing equipment downtime and responding to maintenance needs

• Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
