Optical Electronics Unit Responsible Systems Engineer
Location: El Segundo, California (On-site)

Role Overview
This organization is seeking a specialized engineering lead to direct systems engineering and integration efforts for advanced optical electronics and laser communications systems. The successful candidate will guide requirements management and cross-functional development from initial design through system sell-off. This critical role requires coordinating technical activities across multiple disciplines to deliver high-performance hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, or a closely related technical field.
Experience: Extensive experience in systems engineering, including requirements management, design integration, and hardware verification for aerospace or defense applications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in systems engineering methodologies, technical trade study execution, product specification development, and verification planning.
