Job Title: OCI, MySQL, MariaDB, Database Administrator 960
Location: Downey, CA 90242 - Hybrid
Assignment type: Temporary - 12 months
w/ high chance of extension or hire
Pay rate: $60-$65/hour
Description:- Lead complex technology implementations and design scalable, efficient system architectures.
- Develop technical solutions using modern programming languages, frameworks, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Implement automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and version control solutions.
- Ensure technical architecture aligns with business goals and supports future growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to establish technical roadmaps, requirements, and project milestones.
Qualifications:- Experience in technical architecture, system design, database schema development, and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of JBOSS Messaging and Spring-JMS connectivity.
- Experience developing database jobs and integrating external systems.
- Ability to gather business requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, and lead technical teams.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in systems development, analysis, programming, or testing.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (additional experience may substitute year-for-year).
- Strong expertise in Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB database administration and performance tuning.
- Experience with database backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and enterprise backup tools such as Commvault.
- Knowledge of database cloning and copy data management using Dell EMC AppSync and Commvault.
- Experience automating database tasks using Jenkins, Ansible, Control-M, Azure DevOps, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
- Experience deploying and supporting databases in AWS, including EC2, RDS, Aurora, MariaDB, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of AWS monitoring, logging, and observability services.
- Experience implementing database security patches and vulnerability remediation.
