    Senior Associate - Office of the CFO Advisory

    Locations: New York, San Francisco, Miami, Houston

    Position Overview

    A growing advisory firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Strategic Finance / Office of the CFO practice. This individual will work directly with senior leadership and client executives to support a wide range of finance transformation, performance improvement, and transaction-related initiatives.

    The role offers significant client exposure and the opportunity to operate as part of lean, high-performing teams, supporting both strategic decision-making and execution across a variety of complex engagements. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of analytical rigor, financial acumen, and strong communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support the execution of client engagements across finance transformation, FP&A optimization, and strategic finance initiatives
    • Build and maintain financial models, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
    • Analyze financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics to identify actionable insights
    • Assist in the design and implementation of improved finance processes and reporting structures
    • Prepare client-ready materials, including presentations for senior management and board-level stakeholders
    • Support working capital, liquidity, and cost optimization analyses
    • Participate in M&A-related workstreams, including diligence, integration, and carve-out support
    • Collaborate closely with client finance teams to enhance decision-making capabilities and reporting accuracy
    • Contribute to internal knowledge development and firm-building initiatives

    Qualifications

    • 3-6 years of relevant experience in consulting, FP&A, or related finance roles
    • Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset
    • Experience working with financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes
    • Exposure to ERP systems and data tools is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and client stakeholders
