This is a hybrid clinical and leadership role for an experienced occupational therapist who wants to remain directly involved in patient care while supervising and developing therapists, assistants, and technicians. The Occupational Therapy Team Leader will provide direct occupational therapy services while helping lead the therapy team, coordinate departmental workflows, support staff development, and drive clinical quality.

This is a hybrid clinical and leadership role for an experienced occupational therapist who wants to remain directly involved in patient care while supervising and developing therapists, assistants, and technicians. The position combines treatment responsibility with staff oversight, workflow coordination, quality improvement, and day-to-day team leadership.

Job Details

The Occupational Therapy Team Leader will provide direct occupational therapy services while helping lead the therapy team, coordinate departmental workflows, support staff development, and drive clinical quality.

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Deliver skilled therapy interventions and monitor patient response
• Supervise therapists, therapy assistants, and technicians
• Support staff development, coaching, and performance management
• Coordinate team assignments, documentation, training, and schedules
• Assist with workflow management to support departmental and organizational goals
• Promote continuous quality improvement within therapy services
• Maintain clinical standards while balancing patient-care and team-leadership responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Idaho Occupational Therapist license required
• Minimum of three years of discipline-specific occupational therapy experience
• BLS/CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Leadership experience preferred
• Active participation on the Therapy Clinical Ladder when eligible preferred
• Specialty professional certification preferred
