OTA Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients in improving independence with daily activities, mobility, cognition, and functional skills
- Implement individualized treatment plans focused on patient goals
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with therapy and nursing teams to support positive patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Michigan
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
