Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Occupational Therapy Assistant delivers school-based services for Elgin ISD students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success, maintain required documentation, participate in ARD/IEP processes where applicable, and comply with district, state, and federal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver OT interventions under OT supervision.
- Document therapy sessions.
- Assist with treatment planning.
- Prepare therapy materials.
- Support classroom strategies.
- Collaborate with staff.
- Maintain records.
- Ensure student safety.
- Follow supervision requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Certifications
Associate degree and active Texas OTA license.
Preferred Qualifications
- School experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with pediatric populations.
