Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($75,000 - $85,000) around 20 minutes from downtown Washington, DC. Live closer to the clinic and enjoy a lower cost of living with easy access to DC!
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- MD state license
- Pediatric experience preferred, although an excellent mentor is available
Position Details:- Schedule: Full-time
- Multidisciplinary clinic with Speech, behavior therapy (RBT to assist with therapy)
- Caseload includes a lot of low verbal or nonverbal kiddos, as well as children on the autism spectrum. Experience with or willingness to learn to use AAC devices is preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish speaker is a huge plus, but a translator is available for Spanish-speaking families
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based physical therapy services in a clinic setting.
- Supervise OTA-level providers when applicable to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to improve client outcomes holistically.
