    Summary:

    The Occupational Therapist utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate/assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Utilizes professional knowledge and behaviors to evaluate, assess and treat patients with a variety of physical, educational, or psychosocial disabilities.

    • Communicates effectively with patient, family members, and team members as needed.

    • Performs appropriate and necessary documentation and patient/family education.

    • Supervises COTA/L, volunteer, or student per OT regulations.

    • Other duties as required.

    Other information:

    Technical Expertise

    • Experience in occupational therapy is required.

    • Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.

    • Experience in healthcare is preferred.

    • Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.

    Education and Experience

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required; Master's degree is preferred.

    • Certification: Certification by National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and current Ohio state licensure is required.

    • Years of relevant experience: Minimum 3 years is preferred.

    • Years of experience supervising: None.
