Occupational Therapist — Full-Time, Permanent Placement

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience and work schedule

Focal Point Medical Staffing is recruiting Occupational Therapists for permanent, full-time positions with an educational client in Brooklyn, NY. Provide onsite services to students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ages 3–20.

These are year-round, direct-hire positions with the client. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:15 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:15 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• Friday: 8:15 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

• Onsite at one location; no travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual pull-out and group occupational therapy services.

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations.

• Develop individualized treatment goals and monitor student progress.

• Collaborate with the clinical and educational team.

• Complete accurate, timely evaluations, treatment notes, and progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Occupational Therapist license and active registration.

• OTR/L credential.

• Pediatric or school-based experience, including relevant clinical fieldwork for new graduates.

• Strong clinical communication, organization, and documentation skills.

• Availability for full-time, onsite, year-round employment.

Interview Process

Initial recruiter screening and verification of professional qualifications, followed by a client phone interview and an in-person interview in Brooklyn.
