Description
A New York City-based nonprofit services organization is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team in the Bronx, providing occupational therapy to children in a preschool setting.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, open to part-timers
Hours: 8am to 3:30pm (35-hour work week)
Responsibilities:
Implementing occupational therapy intervention plans
Evaluating children and planning treatments
Documenting services for compliance
Adhering to ethical and professional standards
Maintaining treatment areas and equipment
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid NYS Occupational Therapist (OT) license
NBCOT certification
Experience with Pediatrics
Solid assessment and documentation skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized
Team collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Experience with IDD population
Experience with Developmental Delays
