Are you an experienced and passionate Occupational Therapist dedicated to helping students in the Bronx build the critical skills needed to succeed academically and independently? We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and deliver essential support for students in NYC Department of Education (DOE) schools. With a major shortage city-wide of related services providers, your skills are urgently needed to help students develop essential life skills and achieve their goals. This is a chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students with varied needs using evidence-based occupational therapy approaches.
As an OT with Knowledge Road, you will have the flexibility to deliver personalized therapy interventions, working with school teams and families to promote student growth and independence.
As an Occupational Therapist (OT) with Knowledge Road, you will:
• Current valid NYS license as an Occupational Therapist in good standing.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in school-based or pediatric settings.
• Competency in electronic documentation systems and teletherapy platforms.
• NYC DOE fingerprinting and vendor status required or willingness to complete before start.
This full-time, school-day position follows a school day schedule aligned with the NYC DOE calendar. You will provide services on-site at schools in the Bronx area, with placements based on student needs. Hours per week are determined by IESP/IEP mandates; caseload may vary by assignment. Generally ~20-30 hours/week, depending on placements.
$63/hr (1099).
