Validation Associates LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists
  • Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home modification strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to discharge planning processes
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current NBCOT certification (OTR) required
  • Active New Mexico state OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Previous clinical experience in a relevant care setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ADLs, fine motor rehabilitation, and sensory integration techniques
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
