    Position: Occupational Therapist

    Location: 102-bed skilled nursing center

    Hours: 35 hours per week

    Salary: $39-40 per hour

    We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at our 102-bed skilled nursing center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a positive impact on their lives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine their individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

    - Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to improve patients' functional abilities and independence

    - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients

    - Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support their daily activities

    - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

    - Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with facility policies and state regulations

    - Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans

    - Stay current with the latest advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate them into practice

    Qualifications:

    - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

    - Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

    - Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

    - Strong clinical and critical thinking skills

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation

    - CPR certification
