Contract Details

  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours), 8:00 16:30
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility can call off UP to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)
  • Travel Requirements: Traveler is expected to have their own transportation. Occasional maximum radius of 50 miles.
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Home Health Occupational Therapist travel/contract opportunity based in Medford, OR and surrounding areas. The role is with a Home Health facility type and involves visiting patients in their homes across the service area, with the system making a good effort to group clients to minimize drive and windshield time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients in Medford, OR and surrounding areas
  • May visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard (1:1 ratios)
  • Complete Oasis documentation as required (Oasis experience is required; please call out if traveler does not have Oasis experience)
  • Utilize EPIC/Oasis charting system
  • Manage independent travel between patient homes within the service area; occasional maximum radius of 50 miles

Required Skills

  • Oasis documentation experience (required must be called out if not present)
  • Independent transportation and ability to travel within service area
  • Ability to meet 30 productivity points standard per day

Education Requirements

  • OT License (Required)
  • BCLS certification required
  • Pending License Accepted: Yes

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of skilled Home Health experience required
  • First-time travelers not accepted

  • Mileage Reimbursement: IRS Standard
  • No on-call required
  • No weekend requirement
  • Block schedule not accommodated (facility cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s)
  • No floating between like units required
  • Locals accepted; considered "local" within 50 75 mile radius; locals accepted at the same rate
  • RTO Restrictions: Confirm with hiring manager

Important Notes

  • Facility requires primary series COVID vaccination in addition to one booster.
  • Traveler is expected to have their own transportation.
  • Oasis experience is required. Please call out if traveler does not have Oasis experience.
  • This facility cannot accommodate 4x10 or 3x12 schedules.
