Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs
  • Utilize therapeutic modalities and assistive technology to support patient rehabilitation goals
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical outcomes
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current NJ state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • NBCOT certification (OTR) required or in process
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of ADL training, manual therapy, and functional rehabilitation techniques
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-centered care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic
