Apollo Home Healthcare is hiring a full-time or part-time/per diem Occupational Therapist to join our Home Healthcare Team and see patients in Northern California''s Bay Area. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them regain independence and improve their daily functioning. You will supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and work with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

For a limited time, Apollo is offering a $2,500 hiring bonus for a full-time Occupational Therapist or a $500 hiring bonus for a part-time/per diem Occupational Therapist.

What You''ll Do

Provide in-home occupational therapy evaluations and treatments according to the physician's plan of care

Assess patients' strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to function safely at home

Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress

Help patients improve independence with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, mobility, and home safety

Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safe movement

Document evaluations, visits, and progress in WellSky/Kinnser in a timely manner

Communicate patient progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the care team and physician

Supervise COTAs in accordance with state guidelines

Participate in care planning, case conferences, and discharge planning
