    ABOUT US:

    Millennium Therapy is looking to add a Full-Time Occupational Therapists to our interdisciplinary teams in Iowa and a PRN position in Des Moines, IA. Millennium Therapy is a patient focused, therapist owned, and therapist managed company that operates throughout Iowa providing Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy in various settings. The local home office provides quick support to our associates. Our therapy teams succeed through patient tailored treatments, flexible scheduling, and effective communication to meet the individualized goals of each patient.

    PAY:

    Negotiable

    HOURS:

    5-40 Hours/Week Flexible

    LOCATIONS:

    • Cedar Rapids, IA for the Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living settings.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and Professional Licensure in the state of hire; two years of clinical experience preferred.
    • Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to utilize independent clinical judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Utilizes effective time management skills.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST REQUIREMENTS:

    • Occupational Therapist provides patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload.
    • Participates in the clinical team process.
    • Provides teaching and training to caregiver staff.
    • Involvement in clinical program development.
    • Supervises other licensed occupational therapists, assistants, technicians, aides, and students as required. Some programs with two or more occupational therapists/assistants may provide additional administrative duties as assigned.
