Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | 35 hours/week (8:00 AM–3:30 PM)
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a collaborative special education program in the Burbank area to welcome a 60 day FMLA Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in specialized classroom settings while collaborating with dedicated educators and related service providers.
You'll provide services across multiple classroom locations and join another AnthroMed Occupational Therapist already supporting the program, offering built-in collaboration and peer support throughout the school year.
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy services to PreK–8th grade students
- Support students within specialized classrooms across multiple school locations
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families
- Complete evaluations, write goals, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Work closely with the leadership team to develop individualized therapy plans and student supports
Caseload Details
- PreK–8th grade student population
- Primarily supporting approximately three specialized classrooms across multiple school locations
- Opportunity to meet with the director before the school year to review caseload details and service expectations
- Collaborative team environment with another AnthroMed OT already supporting the program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapy License (IDFPR)
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- School-based experience is preferred but not required
