What You’ll Do
- Support occupational health services at a busy work site, managing patient and workers’ compensation cases
- Develop and implement treatment plans for work-related injuries and illnesses
- Perform joint, tendon, and bursa aspirations and injections; splinting and immobilization; suturing and suture removal; stapling and removal
- Conduct vaccinations, including tetanus, and interpret pulmonary function tests
- Manage work restrictions and return-to-work evaluations
- Collaborate with team members on case management and patient care
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing (labs, imaging)
What You Need
- Required:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Michigan license
- DEA registration
- BLS and DOT/FMCSA certifications
- Preferred:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Skills in occupational injury management, musculoskeletal care, medication prescribing, and diagnostic interpretation
