What You’ll Do

• Provide direct support in an occupational health setting at a meat packing plant, supporting patient care for adult workers.
• Manage work-related injuries and illnesses, including musculoskeletal injuries.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including joint injections, aspirations, and splinting.
• Interpret diagnostic tests such as PFTs, lab, and imaging results.
• Collaborate with the occupational health team on case management, work restrictions, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Conduct DOT physicals and handle workers' compensation cases.
• Support occupational injury and illness management within the facility.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Michigan license
  • DEA certification
  • BLS and DOT/FMCSA certification
• Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience in occupational medicine or related field
  • Experience with joint injections, aspiration procedures, and musculoskeletal care
