       Corporate Occupational Health Environment

    Support Employee Health, Safety & Workplace Well-Being

    We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Specialist to support occupational health programs within a corporate environment in Houston.

    This is a part-time, on-site position working 16 hours per week, ideally suited to an occupational health professional with experience across medical surveillance, employee health, travel medicine, disability case management, and confidential health records.

    You will work closely with employees, managers, Human Resources, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to support a healthy, safe, and productive workforce.

    What You’ll Do

    Occupational Health & Medical Surveillance

    • Support occupational health programs and workplace health initiatives.
    • Coordinate and monitor employee medical surveillance programs.
    • Track medical evaluations, screenings, and periodic health assessments.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records.
    • Support compliance with applicable occupational health requirements.

    Travel Health

    • Guide international travel health requirements.
    • Coordinate medical assessments, vaccinations, and health clearances where applicable.
    • Liaise with external healthcare providers to support employee travel requirements.

    Disability & Return-to-Work Case Management

    • Coordinate disability and return-to-work cases.
    • Work with employees, healthcare providers, HR, and management regarding appropriate workplace accommodations.
    • Monitor case progress and maintain accurate and confidential documentation.

    Reporting & Administration

    • Maintain occupational health databases and records.
    • Prepare reports, metrics, and supporting documentation.
    • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee health information.
    • Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting requirements.

    What We’re Looking For

     Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Nursing, Occupational Health, Health Sciences, or a related field.

     Experience supporting occupational health programs in a corporate environment.

     Knowledge of medical surveillance programs.

     Experience with disability case management and return-to-work processes.

     Understanding of travel medicine and employee health requirements.

     Strong record-management and documentation skills.

     Ability to handle sensitive and confidential health information professionally.

     Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

    Nice to Have

     Experience with Cority or similar Occupational Health/EHS management systems.

     Occupational Health certification or related professional designation.

     Experience supporting multinational or large corporate organizations.

    The Schedule

    This is a part-time position requiring 16 hours per week, structured as two 8-hour working days

    The role is based on-site in Houston, Texas.
