GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Are you someone who thrives on solving real-world problems, enjoys being out in the field, and wants to help make workplaces safer for everyone? The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is looking for a dedicated individual with a background in industrial hygiene or occupational safety to join our OSHA enforcement team.
As a Health and Safety Inspector, youll travel throughout the state conducting inspections and investigations at worksites - identifying hazards, collecting samples, evaluating work environments, and helping employers make lasting improvements. This is your opportunity to use your technical skills in air sampling, noise monitoring, chemical exposure, and ergonomics to protect workers and promote safer work practices.

Experience:
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically with OSHA) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Inspection and Safety Specialist

4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically with OSHA) with acquired knowledge at the level of an Inspection and Safety Specialist
